KMA provides an architecture-based approach for mapping the enterprise's
value stream from customer needs to the required enterprise capabilities
("Know Why" knowledge). The KMA also explicitly models
all of the specific components of business capability (including
"Know How" knowledge) required to satisfy these customer
needs. This Accelerator enables users to understand the product/service
value stream of their customers, as well as the corresponding required
capabilities. It also supports other KM knowledge capture, such
as communities of practice, tacit and explicit knowledge assets
and organizational learning.
KMA also supports Causal Architecture modeling that dynamically
links Business and IT strategies and implementation projects in
the Zachman Framework as well as Community of Practice modeling
and analysis.
